Relevant Experience: ≥ 3 years of subcontract or procurement experience on high-complexity, high-risk aerospace/defense programs
≥ 2 years leading cross-functional teams
Analytical Ability: Skill in preparing bid packages, defining evaluation criteria, and conducting cost/technical proposal analysis
Communication: Strong written and oral communication; able to draft precise specifications, work statements, and contract terms
Compliance/ Ethics: Knowledge of FAR/DFAR, aerospace/defense regulations, and a track record of ethical procurement practices
Security Clearance: Active U.S. Government Secret (or higher) clearance
Ability to successfully manage multiple Strategic, Critical and Tactical supplier relationships to overcome complex schedule and cost challenges
Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively manage stakeholder expectations at a variety of levels
Capable of identifying and mitigating risks by implementing effective mitigation strategies
Excellent commercial skills with the ability to analyse and negotiate best-value agreements
Proven track record of adhering to procurement procedures and processes, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and timely execution of all procurement activities
Able to complete work under general direction, independently determining and developing approaches to solutions
Be an advocate of and has demonstrated the ability to deliver continuous improvement
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply-Chain Management, or a closely related discipline
