High school diploma or GED.
1+ years of industrial maintenance experience, maintenance technician experience, trade school training, or related mechanical education.
Working knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, conveyors, and rotating equipment.
Ability to read work orders, manuals, drawings, and maintenance procedures.
Basic computer skills for entering work history, viewing drawings, and documenting repairs.
Ability to work a 12-hour rotating shift schedule.
Ability and willingness to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and additional scheduled shifts as needed.
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform frequent standing, walking, climbing, bending, stooping, and manual labor.
Ability to work effectively in an industrial chemical plant environment.
