Electrician A-Class

Minimum 3 years experience in AC/DC installations.

Proficiency with electrical systems (machinery shutdown, navigational and internal communications, PLC systems).

Skilled in AC/DC and control system terminations.

Knowledge of cabling systems installation per marine, Navy, and Coast Guard standards.

Ability to interpret electrical schematics and documentation.

High School Diploma / GED required

The physical ability to stand for the entire shift, use hands for various tasks, ascend stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, and hear.

Team members must occasionally lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.

Specific vision abilities required include close, distant, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.

Formal electrical training (apprenticeship or similar) preferred.

Shipbuilding and commissioning experience preferred.

Start Up to 62 CPM

Start at 50 - 62 CPM* + an additional 1 - 4 CPM in safety/service bonus

$75 per day for breakdown/layover pay after 24 hours

Earn up to $4,000 in progressive sign-on bonus*:

$750 after 30 days

$500 after 90 days

$750 after 180 days

$1,000 after 270 days

$1,000 after 365 days

Orientation Pay: $150 per day
