Strong skills in mechanical repair, hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, gearboxes, and rotating equipment

Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in hot industrial conditions

Welding and fabrication ability required (SMAW, MIG, oxy-fuel cutting)

Strong troubleshooting

Willingness to work rotating shifts, overtime, and respond to emergency maintenance needs

Familiarity with industrial safety procedures

Millwright - Steel/Foundry Experience Preferred

Industrial millwright experience in a steel mill, foundry, or heavy manufacturing environment preferred

High School Graduate or equivalent (GED).

Associates degree with a Technical focus and 3 years of related experience in general industry; or 5 years of related experience in general industry or successful completion of the ATS Technician Progression Program.

Understands HVAC, utility, electrical, and plumbing systems.

Must be able to use basic hand tools and specialized tools as appropriate

The employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands/fingers to handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb, ascend/descend or balance to heights that may require a ladder or lift; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl in confined spaces; and talk or hear.

The employee is occasionally required to sit.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 pounds.

The employee is regularly required to use close vision and color vision.

EPA Universal Certification highly preferred
