QC Level II NDE

Must be qualified and certified to ASNT-TC-1A in the following NDT Methods that will be utilized: Radiographic (RT)

Previous Level II Certification to ASNT-TC-1A including documented objective evidence of classroom and on the job training experience

Valid Driver's License

Required: High School diploma or equivalent with at least 3 years of inspection related experience

Familiar with the tools and equipment and shall have demonstrated proficiency in their use

Capable of determining the calibration status of RT equipment is in proper condition for use, and that inspection, examination and test procedures are approved

Inspection personnel shall be fluent (written and verbal) in the English language

Inspection personnel shall be able to read the equivalent of the size and letters of the Jaeger I chart at a minimum distance of 12 inches and distinguish and differentiate the contrasts between colors illustrated on an Ishihara Test Chart including shades of gray

Inspection personnel shall be physically capable of crawling in and out of small manways, climb inside vessels, towers, heaters, or other confined spaces for inspection activities, often wearing Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) as required to comply with safety regulations

Inspection personnel shall be able to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects weighing up to 50 pounds

Computer skills, especially familiarity with MS Office applications, are necessary

Experience in working with the following codes/standards: ASME, AWS, ISO and other standards are desired

Preferred candidate to have previous shooters card along with Safety Training associated with Radiography

Preferred candidate will be a Certified Level II Digital Radiography (DR)

Visual Examination (VT)

Magnetic Particle Examination (MT)

Preferred: 2 years of inspection related experience with a completion of 2 years of college in technical or engineering related discipline from a university, college, or technical school
