Actively enrolled in an Engineering Program (preferably Manufacturing or Mechanical) from a 4-year accredited college/university
Must be able to apply their academic background to real business world experiences
Strong mechanical reasoning skills
Previous welding experience preferred
Experience: Prior experience with work study programs, school or volunteer leadership roles, participated on teams or in clubs, professional organizations, etc. preferred
Soft Skills: Excellent written and verbal communications. Ability to multi-task, manage deadlines and easily adapt to new challenges and business working environment. Strong motivation to make contributions to Komatsu and strong motivation to drive results
PC Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office specifically with Excel (Pivot Tables), Power Point (slide presentations, AutoCAD and other summary and analysis tools. Must demonstrate good analytical and problem-solving skills
Travel: Some travel may be required
Possible opportunity for continued part-time work throughout the school year (up to 1,040 hours per year)
