Previous experience in painting.
Knowledge of painting techniques, tools, and materials.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to work from ladders, scaffolds and platforms, and in situations where the surfaces to be coated are in cramped and hard-to-reach places. This requires the ability to stand, stoop, bend, kneel, climb and work in tiring and uncomfortable positions.
Ability to lift, carry, and set up materials and equipment that weigh up to 10 pounds. Occasionally, may be required to handle materials and equipment that weigh 50 pounds and over.
Must be a US Citizen.
Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.
