Minimum 1-year of experience and/or training on production machinery
High school diploma or GED
Ability to lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds
Ability to read and understand written work instructions and prints

Good mechanical aptitude as well as basic math and measurement skills
Verifying materials are correct and quantity of materials is adequate
Operating machine(s) to produce die cut parts of a specified size and shape
Setting up jobs by inserting tools into die area and locking into place; positioning material onto machine to ensure proper alignment with tooling; adjusting tension on mandrels as necessary
Requesting quality inspection at initial setup and at end of production run
Conducting quality checks during run
Measuring parts periodically to ensure correct dimensions
Stripping waste material and checking depth of cut throughout job run
Removing parts and stacking according to size and shape or packing into box to be shipped
Completing appropriate documentation after running each job
Complying with all safety, quality and production procedures and standards
Cleaning, picking up, and sweeping work area to eliminate safety hazards
