Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T;) call outs.
Strong knowledge of GD&T; per ASME Y14.5.
Proficient in using Micrometers, Calipers, Height Gages, and Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM).
High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or two to five years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
2 - 5 years minimum experience in quality control inspection of manufactured metal products
Ability to read and comprehend blueprints / design drawings to extract dimensional data to be checked against
Knowledge of GD&T; symbols
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions in English, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to write simple correspondence.
Customer certifications (if applicable)
The employee is regularly required to stand and walk.
The employee frequently is required to use hands to feel, handle or reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to twenty-five pounds.
