Flexible scheduling

Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM ET.

A minimum of 20 hours per week

Certification runs for 10 days, Monday-Friday, from 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM ET

Each independent contractor services a minimum of 20 hours per week

Medical office, pharmacy, or non-clinical medical experience is very helpful

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Target Experience: Five (5) years of relevant QA work experience. The contractor employee shall have experience in performing various quality assurance functions such as Quality Planning, Inspection and Testing, Auditing, review of Objective Quality Evidence, and Quality Management, and/or services that are essential to the safe operations of United States (U.S.) Submarines and Naval Level I Material Program. They shall also have experience in supporting the development procedures and work instruction for governmental approval in support of departmental Quality Programs.

Be proficient in reading and understanding complex electromechanical engineering drawings/blueprints.

Have an expert level of knowledge with the Navy's SUBSAFE and the Level I Material Program (LIMP) - specifically a comprehensive understanding of NAVSEA 0948-LP-045-7010, Rev 3, Volume 1, Material Control Standard.

Knowledge of Quality Systems that meet MIL-I-45208/ISO 9001 standards.

Experience with Adobe, and Microsoft Office Suite programs.

The hourly rate for this position is between $16.05 - $19.95 an hour.

Experience in developing and executing QA Audits and/or surveillances in order to analyze and evaluate processes and procedures.

Basic understanding of documentation associated with welding and Non-Destructive Evaluation (NDE) and be proficient in reading and understanding complex engineering drawings/blueprints.

Experience and familiarity with reporting of quality-related determinations, including comparison of as-built conditions to requirements.

Must be a U.S. citizen.

A secret security clearance

United States citizenship is required.

The candidate should be located in the tri-state area

3–5 years of technical sales experience in the aerospace/defense industry preferred.

Technical understanding or background in sensors, instrumentation, or related electromechanical products is a plus.

Working knowledge of ITAR regulations preferred.
