Knowledge of SolidWorks 3D modeling software.

Must be an experienced, skilled machinist.

Able to take a job from print to finished part.

Knowledge of various types of CNC Lathes including 3 and 4 axis machines.

Good computer skills including excel, outlook and word.

Understand M & G codes and how they are used to command the machine.

Able to use CAM software to program CNC machines.

Ability to interpret drawings, blueprints, and written / verbal instructions with limited supervision to setup and operate CNC equipment.

Ability to verify parts using quality measuring devices.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Stand for long periods of time.

Able to lean and reach.

Able to run manual equipment.

Basic computer skills including Word, Outlook, and Excel

Knowledge of SolidCAM a plus.

5+ years of Mastercam experience in a production machining environment; less experience may be considered for entry-level candidates with strong technical skills

Proven experience programming 5-axis 3+2 machining

Experience in a close-tolerance milling environment

Strong understanding of GD &T;

Ability to understand machining parameters, including speeds, feeds, depth of cut, tooling, and horsepower requirements

Strong mathematical skills, including geometry, trigonometry, fractions, ratios, and proportions

Occasionally, the employee may be required to lift, push, or pull items weighing up to 25 pounds

5-axis simultaneous programming experience.

Vericut experience.

SolidWorks experience.

Custom Macro B programming experience.

CNC probing and in-process inspection programming experience.

Additional experience in advanced multi-axis machining and process development.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field preferred.

Approximately 10 years of manufacturing experience preferred.

5+ years of Mastercam experience preferred.

2+ years of SolidWorks experience preferred.

1+ year of Vericut experience preferred.
