Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or Materials Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
Strong project management capabilities and ability to lead cross-functional initiatives
Ability to lift 100 lbs. with activities that typically require a variety of muscle movements with frequent requirement for speed and coordination
Strong understanding of steel metallurgy and its application in manufacturing environments
Experience implementing Lean principles and process improvements
Background in metals processing required
5-7 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with vendors and cross-functional teams
Solid mechanical and electrical aptitude
Ability to maintain confidentiality of classified information
Knowledge of material flow, operations sequencing, and industrial efficiency
