Familiar with Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and Production Workflow/Control systems
Principle of operation
Read and interpret machine, electrical and facility drawings
Welding, fabrication and machining skills
High school diploma or GED required
At least one year experience in Utilities operations (boilers, compressed air, ammonia refrigeration)
When required, must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including (but not limited to) bump cap, safety steel toe shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection, clothing, and footwear in appropriate areas and follow safety practices
Ability to understand hazards of chemicals and materials and safely handle them
Standing/walking for long periods of time
Hand dexterity, good sense of balance (climbing, stooping, kneeling, and crawling)
Good ear, nose, sense of feeling and far vision to evaluate equipment being repaired.
Able to lift/push/pull max 50 lbs. (if exceeds 50 lbs., use teamwork and proper equipment)
Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception
