High school diploma or GED required
At least one year experience in Utilities operations (boilers, compressed air, ammonia refrigeration)
Knowledge and ability to interpret National Electrical Code
Power Systems and Distribution
Basic PLC / hardwire logic circuits knowledge
Motor Control Circuits
Safety Circuits
Analog and discrete devices
Knowledge and use of test equipment (amp meter, megger, etc.)
Familiar with Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and Production Workflow/Control systems
Read and interpret machine, electrical and facility drawings
Operate, troubleshoot, and diagnose industrial systems
When required, must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including (but not limited to) bump cap, safety steel toe shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection, clothing, and footwear in appropriate areas and follow safety practices
Ability to understand hazards of chemicals and materials and safely handle them
Standing/walking for long periods of time
Duties require standing, walking, hand dexterity, good sense of balance (climbing, stooping, kneeling, and crawling).
Able to lift/push/pull max 50 lbs. (if exceeds 50 lbs., use teamwork and proper equipment)
