Registered Nurse (RN)

Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.

Basic Life Support (BLS).

Active registered nurse (RN) multi-state compact and/or single-state license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where the RN is providing client nursing services

Typically requires 1 year of experience in clinical nursing.

Proficiency in operating computer functions (e.g., E-mail, electronic records, digital platforms etc.) clinical, aviation, maintenance, communications, and administrative departments.

Must be able to sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, reach above shoulders, and twist frequently throughout the workday.

Must be able to lift and support the weight of 35 pounds in handling patients, medical equipment, and supplies.

Must be able to: push/pull with 30 lbs. of force and perform a sliding transfer of 150 lbs. with a second person present.

Must have functional speech, vision, hearing, and touch with ability to use fine hand manipulation skills for IV insertion and other procedures/functions.

Maneuver foot pedals on carts or machines.

Protective clothing and equipment must be worn as necessary.

Must be able to respond quickly to changes in patient and/or unit conditions.

Physical Abilities Testing may be required.

Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (BSN)

$2070 per week.

Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend

On Call, Call Back Requirements: None

Holiday Requirements: Travelers will work 75% of holidays

14 days maximum time off

Registered Nurse

18 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

18 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 1 month within the last 12 months.

ASN completion required.

Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license (required for submission).

Travel only, local not allowed.

Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

Flu vaccination required after submission.

Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

Anyone who worked as Part-Time at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

Anyone who worked as Per Diem at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Pre-employment modules may be required for this role.

General Med/Tele skillset: Stroke experience/NIH assessments, Chest tube management, PIV starts, trach care, Cardiac rhythm interpretation, NGT placement, drain/tube management (Dobhoff, PEG tubes, Hemovac, JP drains, flexiseals, foley insertion/management, etc), PCA pumps

Medication gtt management to include: Cardiac drips, Heparin, blood products, IVF

1 Manager reference required from within the last 12 months

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

Proof of identification required

BLS (Basic Life Support)

NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)

ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
