A minimum 5 years of electrical and/or civil estimating experience in an industrial environment required, or a minimum of 5 years of field supervision or relevant experience.
Must be familiar with materials and equipment take-off process.
Possess the ability to perform conceptual estimates based on specifications.
Ability to compose basic, as well as complex proposals, technical documents, and formal letters.
General understanding of Fixed Price, Time & Materials, Cost Plus and Unit contract pricing mechanism.
Basic understanding of electrical trade and general construction.
Ability to understand construction drawings and contract documents.
Ability to work on multiple estimates simultaneously.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to see, talk, and hear.
The employee is required to sit at a desk and work on a computer for prolonged periods of time.
