Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Architecture from an ABET-accredited institution.
At least 5 years of engineering or architecture experience, including knowledge of engineering concepts, principles, and practices applicable to components and facilities on a regional transmission system.
Progressively technical experience in engineering operations, with the ability to apply a diversified knowledge of principles and practices in assigned technical areas.
Minimum of 5 years of practical engineering experience in the construction field.
At least 3 years of experience using standards and practices provided by the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI), including developing standard construction specification libraries (guide specifications), developing standard report and inspection forms for construction quality assurance, and preparing project specifications.
At least 3 years of experience using a database-type software platform for writing, managing, and collaborating on construction specifications.
Working knowledge of automated data systems and database tools used to manage technical documentation.
Ability to prepare, review, and edit technical standards, specifications, reports, and process documentation with strong attention to detail.
Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with multiple Subject Matter Experts and stakeholders.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple concurrent projects, and meet deadlines in a structured yet evolving environment.
Capability to navigate vague, conflicting, or changing priorities while maintaining focus and accuracy.
Experience supporting or participating in compliance activities and audit preparation related to technical documentation and records management.
