Must be able to read and interpret Engineering drawings and Customer specifications.
Must have working knowledge of all industry welding codes and standards including American Society of Mechanical Engineering, Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code Section VIII.
Working knowledge of Nondestructive Examinations, Heat Treating, Paint and Protective Coatings.
Must be able to use a variety of precision and non-precision inspection and test equipment.
Regular attendance, ability to arrive at work punctually, ability to work on-site, ability to work overtime.
Personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, memos, and procedure manuals in English.
Ability to write simple correspondence in English.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
High school diploma or GED.
Experience with Positive Material Identification (PMI).
Forklift experience as well.
