Minimum of three (3) years of experience operating specific assigned fabrication machinery (e.g., tube mills)
Basic knowledge of metal fabrication processes
Ability to read and understand job specifications, blueprints, and shop drawings
Ability to perform intermediate mathematical calculations related to fabrication
Skill in operating and maintaining fabrication equipment and hand tools, including: Scales; Protractors; Fixed-angle and radius gauges
Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Operate tube mills and other fabrication equipment to produce components and structures
Perform machine set-ups and adjustments, including authorized program changes
Prepare and clean product surfaces as required for fabrication operations
Monitor machine performance and product output during production to ensure quality and efficiency
Perform in-process inspections and support final inspections as required
Maintain housekeeping standards and comply with all safety, 6S, and ISO procedures
Formal apprenticeship training is preferred but not required
