Our CVOR schedule is Monday through Friday, 0600–1630, withcall requirements for evenings, nights, and weekends.

Call is required to ensure emergent patient needs are met.

On-call (May be a requirement depending on the position).

Minimum 1 year as a Surgical Technologist required

High School Diploma or GED Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology or Nursing Program; or Graduate of a Military Training Program in Surgical Technology; or Formal education/training may be substituted for individuals with 5+ years of prior experience as a surgical tech

Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) through The National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting or Tech in Surgery (TS-C) through The National Center of Competency Testing

3+ years

Successful completion of service specific portion of the UNC Health Surgical Technologist competencies.

Call is required to ensure emergent patient needs are met.

CVOR experience strongly preferred, including cardiac (CABG, valves, TAVR, ECMO, Impella) and vascular procedures (EVAR, TCAR)

A graduate of an associate or baccalaureate academic program in health science (including, but not limited to, cardiovascular technology, ultrasound, radiologic technology, or respiratory therapy) Or * A graduate of an associate or baccalaureate academic program in an unrelated field along with graduation from a certificate program in cardiovascular technology, ultrasound, radiology technology or respiratory.

Level II: One year of experience as a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist plus ladder requirements

Level III: Two years of experience as a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist plus ladder requirements

External hires into the CVIS III must be approved by DUHS Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology Labs Operations Leaders.

Pre-employment Physical Capacity Testing required

Level II: Basic Life Support Certification required.

Level III: RCIS, RCES, ARRT - RTR, ARRT - Radiography (R), ARRT - Cardiac Interventional Radiography (CI) , ARRT - Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography (CV), ARRT - Vascular Interventional Radiography (VI) or IBHRE certification required

Basic Life Support Certification required.

Level II: RCIS, RCES, ARRT - RTR, ARRT - Radiography (R), ARRT - Cardiac Interventional Radiography (CI) , ARRT - Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography (CV), ARRT - Vascular Interventional Radiography (VI) or IBHRE certification within 36 months of employment.

CVOR experience strongly preferred, including cardiac (CABG, valves, TAVR, ECMO, Impella) and vascular procedures (EVAR, TCAR)

CVOR experience in the following areas strongly preferred: Cardiac- Knowledge of Coronary Artery Bypass, Aoritc and Mitral Valve, minimally invasive heart valve surgery, ECMO, Balloon Pump insertion, circulatory arrest, aortic dissection, lead placement and removal, TAVR, Impella placement, familiar with various types of wire and catheters used for interventional cases. Vascular- Knowledge of various vascular standard OR cases, and Hybrid vascular cases inlcuding EVAR and TCAR.

$2500 per week.

Local Rate = 10% less than travel rate

Shift schedule: 4x 9 hr shifts and 1 x 4hr shift (1/2-day Friday).

Every other weekend is required.

Every other holiday is required.

No call.

3 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

2 years of Obstetrics and Gynecology experience with 3 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Three (3) years of experience performing complex ob/gyn or vascular scans.

Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited education program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography / General Ultrasound or equivalent certificate program is required. This requirement is waived if ARDMS certification was obtained before December 2000.

Must be American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) registered in OB and OB GYN.

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 2 years

14 days maximum time off

Proof of identification required

RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS))

BLS (Basic Life Support)

Ability to provide ultrasound guidance for amniocentesis and CVS.

Fetal Echocardiography (FE).
