Conveyor Maintenance experience
Extensive knowledge of powered conveyor and associated equipment.
Ability to troubleshoot and perform diagnostic checks on conveyor systems.
Must be familiar with 120v and 24VDC circuits as well as 120/480v motors.
Must be able to wire 480v motors and accessories such as brakes soft starts and VFD's.
Familiar with lock out tag out procedures.
Must be comfortable with heights of 30' +.
Must have an understanding of PPE and applications.
Applicant must be able to climb multiple flight of stairs, over and under conveyor as needed.
Must be able recognize potential breakdowns found during PM's and decide if it needs repaired now (e.g. shaft is worn) or can hold until next PM (e.g. pulley lagging is showing wear).
Ability to perform PM's in a timely manner.
Document: repairs, parts used and, time completing tasks in A&F; maintenance database.
Basic knowledge of PC's.
On occasion, must be willing to work in other areas as needed e.g. building maintenance, lift equipment, and grounds.
Must be able work under pressure and maintain a positive attitude.
Willing to work overtime when needed.
Willing to come in early or stay late to complete repairs.
