AN/BYG-1 Combat Control System experience.
Fire Control Technician (FT) or other directly applicable submarine combat systems experience
Demonstrated ability to independently perform complex systems integration, configuration, troubleshooting, and technical support activities in a laboratory, test, or operational environment.
Advanced working knowledge of Linux operating systems and command-line interfaces, including the ability to troubleshoot operating-system, network, software, and hardware issues.
Demonstrated experience troubleshooting complex hardware and software configurations and determining appropriate corrective actions.
Must possess a strong understanding of security practices associated with classified environments, including proper handling of classified material, need-to-know requirements, Operations Security (OPSEC), and Information Security (INFOSEC).
Must be capable of working independently, exercising sound technical judgment, managing competing priorities, and supporting high-visibility test events with limited supervision.
Must be willing and able to work occasional shifts and weekends as required to meet program schedules.
Occasional travel may be required based on program needs and assignment.
