This is a Cyberspace Workforce position, work role code Program Manager, proficiency level Intermediate the incumbent is required to obtain and maintain qualifications in DoDM 8140.03 Cyber Workforce Qualification and Department of Navy policies.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the ND-03 (GS-09/11 equivalency) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate: as a professional engineer executing full-lifecycle Systems Engineering (SE) for complex Undersea Warfare (USW) Combat Systems, including AN/BYG-1, sonar suites, or torpedo defense frameworks.
Specialized experience must demonstrate: Performing systems engineering functions specifically applied to the design, development, and integration of complex Undersea Warfare Combat Systems, managing resources to deliver technical, naval defense systems, using oral communication to build trust, influence others, and foster collaboration, and developing others to build the technical proficiency of an engineering team.
Successfully completed a bachelor's degree (or higher) in engineering. To be acceptable, the program must lead to a bachelor's degree in a school of engineering with at least one program accredited by ABET; or include differential and integral calculus and courses in five of the specified areas of engineering science or physics (statics/dynamics, strength of materials, fluid mechanics/hydraulics, thermodynamics, electrical fields/circuits, materials, etc.) or related curriculum as specified.
Combination of college-level education, training, and/or technical experience that furnished (1) a thorough knowledge of the physical and mathematical sciences underlying engineering, and (2) a good understanding of the engineering sciences and techniques, with additional criteria including professional registration (EI/EIT/PE) or FE exam or specified coursework as described.
For the ND-1520, Mathematics Series: Degree in mathematics or equivalent major including at least 24 semester hours in mathematics, or combination of education and experience meeting the listed mathematics requirements including calculus.
For the ND-1550, Professional Computer Science Series: Bachelor's degree in computer science, or bachelor's or higher degree with 30 semester hours in combination of mathematics, statistics, and computer science, with at least 15 of 30 hours in statistics/mathematics including calculus.
