This is a Cyberspace Workforce position, work role code Program Manager, proficiency level Intermediate the incumbent is required to obtain and maintain qualifications in DoDM 8140.03 Cyber Workforce Qualification and Department of Navy policies.
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the ND-03 (GS-09/11 equivalency) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: as a professional engineer executing full-lifecycle Systems Engineering (SE) for complex Undersea Warfare (USW) Combat Systems, including AN/BYG-1, sonar suites, or torpedo defense frameworks.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Performing systems engineering functions specifically applied to the design, development, and integration of complex Undersea Warfare Combat Systems, managing resources to deliver technical, naval defense systems, using oral communication to build trust, influence others, and foster collaboration, and developing others to build the technical proficiency of an engineering team.
Successfully completed a bachelor's degree (or higher) in engineering.
OR
Combination of college-level education, training, and/or technical experience that furnished (1) a thorough knowledge of the physical and mathematical sciences underlying engineering, and (2) a good understanding, both theoretical and practical, of the engineering sciences and techniques and their applications to one of the branches of engineering.
Degree: mathematics; or the equivalent of a major that included at least 24 semester hours in mathematics.
OR
Combination of education and experience -- courses equivalent to a major in mathematics (including at least 24 semester hours in mathematics), as shown in A above, plus appropriate experience or additional education.
Bachelor's degree in computer science.
OR
Bachelor's or higher degree with 30 semester hours in a combination of mathematics, statistics, and computer science. At least 15 of my 30 semester hours were in a combination of statistics and mathematics that included differential and integral calculus.
All academic degrees and course work must be from accredited or pre-accredited institutions .
