Recent experience as a Plaintiff's Litigation Paralegal
Experience in Asbestos Litigation, Toxic Tort, Catastrophic Injury and Wrongful Death matters
Bachelor's degree, Paralegal certificate or commensurate Paralegal experience
3 years of litigation experience in one of these areas
5 years of legal experience overall
Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Case Management software including but not limited to Clio and Legal Research Search Engines
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Review and draft various legal documents and conduct legal research
Create and maintain case files and be able to handle cases from inception to trial
Maintain attorney and Court Calendar/Docket as needed
E-file documents in state and federal courts as needed (PA and NJ is a plus)
Assist and meet with clients and maintain valued relationships
Facilitate organization strategies to meet attorney deadlines efficiently
Participate in fact investigation and the negotiation of legal disputes
Adhere to state and federal compliance regulations/laws while maintaining the proper storage and confidentiality of client information
