Senior Piping Designer - AutoCAD Plant 3D
Location: Billings, Montana (on-site)
Pay Range: $50.00 /hr. - $70.00 /hr.
This role is not eligible for VISA sponsorship now or in the future. Candidates must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in design and drafting in a refinery, or equivalent, setting
Proficient in the use of Plant 3D
Able to go outdoors into the refinery and wear PPE consisting of Fire-Resistant Clothing, hard hat, safety glasses, safety toe boots with a defined heal, and ear plugs
Perform field walkdowns if needed for layout, reviews, and verifications for design work
Familiarity with Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (PID) and refinery equipment
Ability to perform extended walkdowns to verify as-built status of process equipment within various units in the refinery
Generate field markups of as-found installations on existing piping and instrumentation diagrams for review with Operations Process Engineer
Create field sketches of existing installations for generation of Process Flow Diagrams (PFD) and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (PID) to document existing installations
