Fluent in CNC programming software
Able to operate a manual lathe and mill
Ability to read and comprehend blueprints and sketches
Perform algebraic, trigonometry, geometry, conversions and complicated mathematical calculations
Demonstrate a thorough knowledge in the operations and maintenance of CNC mills and manual and CNC lathes
Demonstrate a thorough knowledge in the operation and maintenance of manual mills and/or lathes, drill press, and hand tools
Must be able to measure and inspects as needed
Three or more years as a CNC Machinist
Two or more years CNC programming experience
One or more years technical experience with prototype machinist work using mills and lathes
One or more years Technical Machinist training
Willing to work extended hours when necessary
Willing to work weekends when necessary
Use eyesight for all aspects of the job daily
Must have prior safety training
Heavy Work: The ability to lift up to one hundred pounds with assistance occasionally and up to fifty pounds frequently, due to the weight of machinery and materials.
This position requires standing to a significant degree in order to operate machinery safely.
