This role requires a minimum of five (5) years of experience in a technical or lead writing capacity, including developing developer-focused documentation and collaborating directly with software development teams.
The individual is experienced in using a variety of tools to create templates and manage output styles, ensuring consistency and usability across deliverables, while meeting tight deadlines and working independently.
The Technical Writer possesses a strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), IC ITE, Risk Management Framework (RMF), and other relevant technical concepts outlined in the PWS.
Recognized as an emerging authority, the individual applies broad technical knowledge and expertise to develop solutions for complex documentation challenges, operating under general direction with considerable autonomy in setting objectives and determining approaches.
This position typically requires a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and 6-10 years of relevant experience, with additional experience or advanced education considered in lieu of formal degree requirements.
