At least 5 years of progressively more accountable mechanical experience

While qualified candidates may come from outside the paper industry, it is expected that they will have similar experience in a highly automated process and heavy industrial manufacturing environment and be accustomed to large-scale production in a commodity driven low-cost business.

Strong fiscal awareness and understanding – particularly as it relates to cost control/reduction, budgeting and capital expenditure.

Knowledge of maintenance planning and scheduling and personnel development.

An undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering is preferred, experience in lieu of a degree may be considered.
