Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience in the field and knowledge of machines and automation
Must have a basic understanding of control and fluid power systems
Experience in related field and working knowledge of solid modeling software preferred
Experience working with machines, selecting components, analyzing fit form and function
Ability to perform structural calculations
Rudimentary knowledge of manufacturing processes
Good knowledge of appropriate references to find answers
Proficiency in company software
Travel Requirements: Minimal
Physical Requirements: May be required to stand, walk, sit, reach/pull/push with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop or kneel regularly
May lift or carry 50lbs. Weights exceeding 50lbs will require mechanical means to maneuver
