Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

3+ years of experience in trade compliance, customs brokerage, international logistics, import/export operations, internal controls, or a related compliance function.

Experience working with customs brokers, freight forwarders, transportation providers, suppliers, and cross-functional business partners.

Strong attention to detail with ability to organize evidence, maintain trackers, and meet deadlines.

Proficient in spreadsheets and basic data analysis; comfortable working with reports extracted from ERP/WMS/Shipment Visibility TMS tools.

Clear written and verbal communication skills; able to follow established procedures and escalate issues appropriately.

Ability to sit/stand for extended periods and work on a computer; occasional lifting may be required.

Field/onsite visits, warehouse/transportation facility walk-throughs, or audit support may be required; travel as needed.

Demonstrated knowledge of U.S. import regulations, including HTS classification, country of origin, assists, recordkeeping, free trade agreements, special trade programs, and Partner Government Agency requirements.

Ability to proactively communicate and matrix influence across internal and external stakeholders.

Experience coordinating audits and/or internal controls testing and evidence management.

Strong knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations and international trade compliance requirements.

Experience working with customs brokers, freight forwarders, transportation providers, or government agency requirements.

Experience with C-TPAT, drawback, or more specialized trade programs

Familiarity with tariff classification, country of origin determination, valuation, duty management, or import/export documentation.

Certified Customs Specialist (CCS), Certified Export Specialist (CES), or similar certification preferred.

Working knowledge of end-to-end supply chain processes (replenishment planning, warehousing, fulfillment, transportation, claims/damages, Distributor/Customs) and common system transactions.

Experience coordinating access reviews and/or segregation of duties activities for business applications.
