2nd Shift CNC Machine Operator

Reads blueprint or job order for product specifications such as dimensions and tolerances and tooling instructions such as fixtures, cutting speeds, depth of cut and determines sequence of operations.

Selects, positions, and secures tool in tool holder.

Positions and secures work piece in holding device, machine table, chuck, centers or fixtures.

Moves controls to position tool and work piece in relation to each other, and to set specified feeds, speeds and depth of cut.

Sets up fixture, starts machine.

Requires ability to read precision measuring equipment such as micrometers and calipers.

Observes operation of machine and verifies conformity of machined work piece to specifications.

Keeps work area clean and orderly

Follows all Company rules and safety policies.

Discusses errors in diagrams or production order with supervisor or engineer to clarify assembly problems.

1+ yrs of previous CNC experience preferred but not required if on the job experience applies.

Pay: $19-25/hour, depending on experience

Pay Range for this position: $24.00 - $41.00.

The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position.

Position may be eligible for sales or performance-based bonuses.

Shift: This role will support 24/7 manufacturing operations and work 12-hour shifts from 6:00am - 6:30pm. including a 5% shift differential.

High school diploma or GED.

6 months' experience in a pharmaceutical GMP operations environment (Manufacturing, Quality, MSAT, knowledge of Good Documentation Practices).

Stand for extended periods of time.

Lift, push, and or pull up to 35lbs.

Wear mask, safety shoes, gloves, Tyvek suits, respirator, and related personal protective equipment.

Prior experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.

Strong mechanical aptitude.

Demonstrated process improvement experience.

Familiarity with FDA, EMA, and other regulatory standards.

Demonstrated knowledge and experience in various computer skills, including Windows (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
