2-year Machine Tool Technology or Tool and Die degree, OR 2nd-year Machine Tool Technology and Tool and Die students.
Strong mechanical and technical abilities/experience required.
Ability to edit programs and set up multiple machine styles, with a solid understanding of G&M; Codes.
Willingness to move freely among all cell machines as workload demands.
Ability to read and interpret technical data such as blueprints and routings.
Strong understanding of machine tooling mathematics, including trigonometry and algebra.
Frequently able to lift or move up to 35 lbs.
Occasionally able to lift or move up to 50 lbs.
Continuously stand and walk throughout the workday
Frequently reach with hands and arms; use hands to manipulate, handle, or feel material
Continuous use hands/fingers to grasp, pinch, pull, feel, or handle and manipulate parts and tools
