High School diploma or GED equivalent

A minimum of 3 years' related experience required.

Strong CMM programming, Vision System programming and excellent knowledge basic surface plate inspection methodology, and mechanical inspection instruments,

Strong background with machined component drawings and GD&T.;

Excellent computer skills and proficiency with MS Office applications

Understand basic gauges and their applications.

Be able to use all manual equipment and perform checks such as runout with a v block and indicator, Sunnen gauge and various specialized gauges.

$62,744 to $81584 per year.

5+ years prior Quality experience.

3+ years visual weld inspection experience.

Experience with metal fabrication, assembly manufacturing processes, and inspections of complex electromechanical machine assemblies.

Experience to achieve ANSI level II certification in multiple inspection disciplines within first 3 months.

Ability to frequently sit, stand, squat, climb, reach, and lift up to 55 lbs. independently

Pass a vision acuity exam for both near and far vision, along with the ability to distinguish and differentiate between colors.

Industry recognized inspection/quality certifications (ASNT, AWS CWI, ASQ).

Working knowledge and experience with magnetic particle and dye penetrant inspections is preferred.

Accredited program certification and/or degree in related field is preferred.

$27 - $32 per hour

Technical school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience

Minimum 2-5 years' experience at test and inspection in a manufacturing or production environment with tight tolerance mechanical components (aerospace/defense preferred).

Experience in quality and source inspection on machined/mechanical components using GD&T;, plus CMM, optical and other mechanical tools/ measuring instruments for inspections.

Experience with Programming CMMs for various mechanical components

Experience in creating Inspection Plans for machined/mechanical components applying knowledge of GD&T; to determine the most accurate, repeatable, and efficient methods of measurement

ISO9001 / AS9100 knowledgeable. Familiar with AQL, sampling methods and traceability.

Strong computer literacy, with MS Office/PC expertise, and demonstrated experience with applicable systems, programs, equipment, etc.

Must be a US Citizen

Vision and color vision must pass job-required vision screening.
