5+ years industry experience designing, building, scaling and supporting backend systems in production

Proficiency in a major programming language, e.g. Java, Go, C / C++, Python, etc

Experience in driving operational excellence for large production services

Proven track record of delivering large-scale, highly available, high quality systems

Hands-on technical expertise in large scale systems engineering or distributed systems

On-call experience handling critical systems

The base salary range for this role begins at $154, 000 in our lowest cost US region and goes up to $188, 000 in our highest cost US region.

In addition to your base salary, your total compensation will include a bonus of up to 20%

5-8+ years of experience in Information Security and Data Protection

3-5+ years of Data Protection technical operational capabilities and strategies

Experience with data handling within AI tooling and management

Be proficient in data classification and tracking strategies.

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Architectural, or Energy Engineering (or related engineering discipline) with **5–7+ years** of progressive experience in energy engineering, building systems analysis, or energy performance contracting; **OR** Associate degree in an engineering/technical field with **6–8+ years** of relevant industry experience; **OR** In lieu of a formal degree, **7+ years** of documented, direct industry experience in energy engineering, building performance modeling, or commercial HVAC systems.

Deep understanding of commercial HVAC systems, central plant optimization, building automation/controls (BMS), and ASHRAE energy audit standards.

Hands-on experience with whole-building energy modeling tools (e.g., TRACE 3D+, TRACE 700, eQUEST, or EnergyPlus) and spreadsheet-based bin/8760 energy calculation models.

Ability to travel locally/regionally as required for facility walkthroughs and customer meetings (typically up to 25–35%).

Safety Sensitive roles may require that you pass additional drug screening.

Active professional licensure or industry certifications, such as:Certified Energy Manager (CEM)Professional Engineer (PE)Certified Measurement & Verification Professional (CMVP)ASHRAE certifications (e.g., Building Energy Assessment Professional - BEAP, Building Energy Modeling Professional - BEMP)Project Management Professional (PMP)
