1st Shift Rolling Mill Operator
Sets up and operates 2 small flat wire machines Loads wire efficiently and safely using appropriate tools
Operates all testing equipment including: micrometers, hardness testers, shadowgraphs, etc.
Completes all data entry transactions in computer for wire data and labeling.
Inspects wire quality throughout each step of the set up process
Reports problems that arise with machines, materials, jobs, or team members; and offers solutions where possible within the scope of the duties of the job
Prepares raw material for production with high quality and within tolerances
Provides complete, accurate documentation when required
Participates in cross departmental work production based on business needs
Learns and upholds defined quality standards to ensure maximum customer satisfaction and optimize work efficiency
