Bachelor's degree in Packaging, Engineering or a related field is preferred

Experience with MAP, barrier films, laminated structures, COEX films, SUPs, flexo print, shrink, stretch, and poly bag structures is preferred

Two years of field experience is preferred

Knowledge of vertical form and fill equipment is preferred

Understanding of the chemistry of poly urethane, poly vinyl, and poly olefin films, single direction and bi-directional shrink films, barrier and co extruded poly films is preferred

Power Point or Keynote is preferred

Pivot tables would be a plus

Ability to build a ROI model based on film property changes, such as run speed, down gauging, and size changes to roll stock, shrink bags or stretch film is preferred

Capable of a cut and weight analysis on stretch film is preferred

$20-$23 an hr

Previous manufacturing assembly mechanical experience under a microscope is required.

Experience working with blueprints, technical drawings.

Basic reading, writing, mathematics, and mechanical comprehension skills.

Ability to interpret detailed instructions and documentation effectively.

Basic computer and documentation skills.

Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Ability to work with fractions, decimals, and standard units of measurement.

Ability to perform detailed assembly work using hands and fingers for extended periods.

Ability to sit for long periods while performing microscope-based assembly work.

Frequent use of close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.

Occasionally required to stand, walk, reach, bend, and communicate with others.

Frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds.

Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.

Familiarity with using tools such as cut-off wheels and ohm meters is a plus.
