Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in construction safety, with demonstrated experience in a safety leadership role.
Fluency in English and Spanish is required, including the ability to communicate safety expectations, conduct employee training, participate in incident investigations, and prepare written documentation in both languages.
Strong working knowledge of OSHA, DOT, and other applicable safety regulations.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other standard business software applications.
OSHA 510 or OSHA 500 (Construction Industry Outreach Trainer) certification preferred.
First Aid/CPR Instructor certification preferred.
Ability to develop, maintain, and report on safety metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present information in group settings and training environments.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and contribute to a positive, safe, and high-quality work culture.
Ability to travel throughout Texas for up to 60% of scheduled workdays.
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
