Familiarity with Regulatory bodies such as ABS, USCG, DNV, NEC, etc.
Ability to travel to the ship, both at the shipyard and once in service domestically and internationally.
Proficient Microsoft Office Suite skills.
Experience using AutoCad.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer, Mechanical, Electrical or Naval/Marine Engineering from an accredited university or college
2+ years overall experience with relevant commissioning experience to the marine/offshore industries.
While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle or feel and talk or hear.
The employee is frequently required to sit.
The employee is occasionally required to walk; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
The employee is occasionally required to lift to 25 pounds.
The vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
The employee can be required to travel by fly or support a sea trial on a boat for several days.
