Minimum of three years of CNC machining experience, including independent machine setup and operation in a production environment.
Hands-on experience with Haas CNC controls and/or FANUC controls is required.
Ability to complete a CNC setup from setup documentation, including workholding, tooling, tool offsets, work offsets, program verification, prove-out, and first-piece inspection.
Experience with CNC mills and/or lathes.
Strong understanding of G-code, cutting tools, speeds and feeds, workholding, machining processes, and safe prove-out practices.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T;, specifications, and work instructions.
Proficiency with precision measuring tools and in-process inspection methods.
Experience troubleshooting dimensional variation, tool wear or breakage, chatter, alarms, and other machining issues.
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Employees must wear closed-toe shoes and any required personal protective equipment in production areas.
Must be eligible to work in the United States.
General verbal, written and math skills of adding, subtracting three (3) digit numbers required
Visual acuity to detect visual defects
Walking frequently at workstation and between workstation and packing
Able to stand up to four hours at a time.
Ability to bend at the waist (or w/knee) frequently
Use of both hands to grasp and pick up parts, trim parts, insert bushings, hold and use dielectric tester, pack and label parts frequently.
Must be able to handle large work. (35lbs. Minimum)
Must have the ability and willingness to work overtime on an as needed/required basis in order to complete work in process and communicate with other shifts.
