Full Time

1st: 5:30 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday-Thursday

Willing to work overtime, weekends, holidays, or variable shifts with advance notice.

Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Must be 18 years or older.

Ability to understand and communicate in English, verbal and written.

Able to work indoors and outdoors, including at heights of 4 feet or more, and capable of performing physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs., climbing, bending, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation and while using appropriate PPE.

Minimum one year of experience troubleshooting and maintaining electrical systems (low, medium, or high voltage).

Important note: Eligible candidates must receive a passing score on a Ramsay standarized test.

Certified Maintenance & Reliability Technician (CMRT) or interest in obtaining certification.

Experience working with high‑voltage (<15kV) power distribution systems.

Predictive or precision maintenance training or certifications.

$106,000-$132,497 ANNUALLY (D.O.E.); ABILITY TO INCREASE WITH PERFORMANCE

Non-traditional working hours which include evening meetings.

Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Public Administration or similar.

3-5 years of experience as city or county recorder or deputy city recorder.

Membership in the Utah Municipal Clerks Association, the Greater Salt Lake Clerks/Recorders Association, or International Institute of Municipal Clerks.

Must be bondable with a clean background check and no history of dishonest acts

Current Certified Municipal Clerk or Master Municipal Clerk certification through the International Institute of Municipal Clerks or proven ability to obtain such certification within 3-4 years of hire.

Master's degree in Public Administration and/or related field

Experience in municipal regional collaboration efforts

In-depth knowledge of current technologies, including AI powered tools to generate meeting minutes; the procedures, tools, and methods currently used for Municipal Recorders

Ability to demonstrate an advanced working knowledge of the current state of Municipal Recorders industry and current best practices to advance efficiency and effectiveness

Demonstrated knowledge and ability related to the process of public notification including public notices, advertising and communication strategies

Ability to identify and research best practices and trends for Municipal Recorders related to long term objectives

Demonstrated track record of managing projects from planning through execution, successfully delivering short- and medium-term objectives to advance overarching goals.
