Standard business hours, with occasional flexibility as project needs arise.

Approximately 4–5 years of experience in facilities engineering, facilities management, or facilities project work.

Demonstrated experience with facilities management and facilities projects.

Hands-on commissioning experience, including participation in commissioning walks.

Experience performing facilities walkdowns and field evaluations of existing systems.

Understanding of change controls, deviations, and CAPAs within an engineering or facilities context.

Master's degree;

Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of relevant experience;

Associate degree and at least 6 years of relevant experience;

High school diploma or GED and at least 8 years of relevant experience.

Experience creating and reviewing technical documentation for facilities projects.

Exposure to facilities-related quality assessments and performance evaluations.

Standard (Mon-Fri)

Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance

Cleanroom: no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair etc... allowed

Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.)

Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of hands-on technical experience in electronic systems, installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and calibrating sophisticated analysis tools such as [SEM]( [TEM]( [FIB]( Ion Beam&focusarea;=Search All), or similar systems; or combination of education and technical experience.

A detailed understanding and extensive experience diagnosing and repairing ultra-high vacuum and high voltage systems, or similar systems.

Consistent record of fixing sophisticated systems and subsystems down to the component level

Literate in MS DOS and Windows software environments

Able to read and interpret schematics

Familiar with UHV phenomenon and technology

Must have professional working proficiency in English

Must have ability to acquire a valid passport and travel regionally and internationally as required

Must possess a valid driver's license

Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

The ideal candidate will reside within the assigned Raleigh, NC area territory (Raleigh to Rectangular Park), with a strong preference for candidates based in Raleigh, NC area within one hour of a major airport.
