Minimum of 3 years experience in mechanical inspection in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to use measuring tools including calipers, micrometers, inside/outside micrometers, verniers, pin gauges, height gauges, radius gauges, protractors and dial indicators.
Solid knowledge of inspection sampling methods.
Excellent GDT knowledge and ability to read blueprints at a proficient level, determine standards and relate drawings of parts to the actual parts.
Ability to provide basic mechanical drafting training to inspectors-in-training and render illustrations of defects in parts.
The employee must have the ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 40 pounds occasionally in accordance with job requirements.
The employee may also be required to perform non-standard physical activities including climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, and crouching.
