Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, finance, industrial engineering, engineering technology, or a related field.
Typically, 4-5 years of relevant experience for entry to this level, preferably in NPI materials planning, manufacturing supply chain, procurement, or a related environment.
Broad knowledge of manufacturing operations and supply-chain principles, including experience supporting new product development, prototype builds, or the transition of products into production.
Working knowledge of MRP/ERP principles, bills of materials, inventory management, and material-planning processes.
Demonstrated ability to independently develop and manage material plans, schedules, priorities, risks, and deliverables for projects of varying complexity.
Experience coordinating material requirements and delivery commitments with suppliers, contract manufacturers, or internal manufacturing teams.
Proven ability to communicate clearly, exercise sound judgment, and influence engineering, manufacturing, procurement, quality, and other cross-functional partners without direct authority.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information, evaluate alternatives, identify risks, and recommend appropriate actions.
Strong organizational, documentation, and follow-through skills, including the ability to maintain accurate schedules, decisions, commitments, and action items.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and changing priorities while remaining focused in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently, determine the appropriate approach to assignments, and operate effectively with varying levels of ambiguity during product development.
