Wire Slitter Operator
2nd shift
Configure slitting knives, spacers, and tension rolls according to work order specifications
Thread coils through the slitter, operate the machine at productive speeds
Check slit coils for gauge, width, burrs, and surface quality using micrometers and calipers
Load and unload master coils and finished product safely using overhead cranes or forklifts
Accurately document production, including coil ID creation, footage, and scrap tracking
Maintain a clean work area (5S) and perform basic troubleshooting or preventive maintenance on equipment
Pay Details: $17.00 to $20.00 per hour
