High school diploma or GED or equivalent
AAMA or CMA accreditation
2+ years of experience as a phlebotomist performing venipunctures
In depth knowledge of phlebotomy duties, responsibilities and techniques
Experienced with pediatric draws & neonatal draws
Familiarity with ICD-9 coding
Reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable
Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
Able to be flexible with scheduled hours to provide shift coverage as needed
