This is an hourly, non-exempt position with paid overtime available.

The salary range for this position is: $63,590.00 - $121,530.00

Employees may be eligible for pay incentives based on overall corporate and individual performance and at the discretion of the USAA Board of Directors.

High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma.

2 years relevant property adjusting and/or claims adjusting experience handling moderately complex claims or construction related industry/insurance experience.

Developing knowledge of residential construction.

Working knowledge of estimating losses using Xactimate or similar tools and platforms.

Working knowledge of property claims contracts and interpretation of case law and state laws and regulations.

May need to travel up to 50% of the year (local & non-local) and/or work catastrophe duty when needed.

May require the ability to crouch and stoop to inspect confined spaces, to include attics and go beneath homes into crawl spaces.

May need to meet all USAA safe driving requirements including verification of driving record through MVR & possession of valid driver's license.

May require the ability to lift a minimum of 35 pounds to include lifting a ladder in and out of the trunk of a car.

May require the ability to climb ladders and traverse roofs, this includes the ability to work at heights while inspecting roofs and attics.

Acquisition and maintenance of insurance adjuster license within 90 days and 3 attempts.

Prior experience adjusting property claims using virtual technologies such as ClaimsXperience.

Prior advanced knowledge of Xactcontents.

Prior experience handling _Contents only_ in higher severity/complex Large Loss claims

Bachelor's degree

Industry designations such as CPCU, AIC, SCLA

Currently reside within or have the ability to self-relocate within **Seattle, WA or Portland, OR**

Currently hold an active Adjuster License

Base salary range is $116,000 - $176,000.

Role is eligible for 15% incentive compensation based on metric(s), per plan terms

Bachelor's degree and 7-10 years foodservice or hospitality industry sales experience; or no degree and 11-14 years combined education and equivalent work experience (typically 1 year experience = 1 year education)

Position requires a current and valid driver's license

Candidate must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Seattle WA Area

Pre-employment and ongoing motor vehicle record checks will be performed to determine eligibility to drive a company vehicle

Undergo additional background screens and/or drug/alcohol testing for customer credentialing.
