Minimum of 2 years of experience as a special inspector in construction inspection.
Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and project specifications.
Hands-on experience inspecting concrete, civil construction, structural steel, masonry, fireproofing, proprietary anchors, post-tensioning systems, and structural wood.
Proficiency in using inspection equipment and performing field tests on construction materials.
ACI Grade 1 Field Technician Certification.
Nuclear density gauge certification.
At least two ICC cementitious certifications, such as Reinforced Concrete, Masonry, Shotcrete, or Post-Tension.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to prepare clear, detailed inspection reports and document nonconformance.
Skill in basic data analysis to verify accuracy of test results and inspection findings.
Effective verbal and written communication skills for interaction with project managers, clients, and site personnel.
Strong commitment to safety, including adherence to safety rules, pre-task planning, and reporting of safety concerns.
Ability to maintain and operate inspection equipment reliably and accurately.
