Technician II

Cableway Certified, Connertor Certified Modular, COAX, Multi-Pin Connector Fabricator and Inspector: Connector Trained and Qualified with 40 hours OJT

Installs, maintains, repairs, overhauls, troubleshoots, modifies, constructs and tests various types of electrical, electronic, and mechanical equipment and related devices

Applies technical knowledge of electronics principles to put equipment in operational condition and solve complex problems

Troubleshoots and corrects malfunctions using specialized test and diagnostic equipment

Modifies circuitry to improve performance

Makes recommendations for improvements or modifications to correct problems

Provides operation and maintenance instruction to customer personnel

Prepares operating and malfunction reports and related documentation

Assists engineering staff in determining and solving equipment design problems

May perform quality assurance testing of assemblies and equipment fabricated by other technicians

May provide work leadership to less-experienced technicians

Participates in special projects, as required

Schedule – Standard Monday – Friday Morning Shift (7:00 AM – 4:00 PM PST or 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM PST; flexible start time).

1-2 years of relevant experience.

Data analysis experience (not too technical, just a strong knowledge of basic statistics and math, and ability to interpret and flag anomalies in datasets).

High preference for GIS database/tool and spatial knowledge.

High preference for degrees focused on environmental, mathematics, civil engineering, or computer science.

All of the ins and outs of the hydraulic data and the wastewater/stormwater industry can and will be trained.
