Candidates must be willing to be based in any of the following locations in accordance with operational needs: **Honolulu (HNL), Los Angeles (LAX), and Seattle (SEA).**

Two (2) years of direct customer experience in the hospitality or airline industry OR four (4) years of customer contact and customer service issue resolution with the general public in industries such as retail, education, health care, and/or professional services.

Must be able to proficiently speak and read business level Greek.

Possess the ability to learn and maintain current knowledge and competency of emergency procedures in accordance with Hawaiian and FAA's Regulations.

Flight Attendants work in an environment subject to varying climatic conditions, variable positive and negative gravitational loads induced by turbulence, and varying levels of cabin pressurization. In addition, flight attendants are required to stand for up to four to seventeen hours, during which time stooping, twisting, and pulling and pushing cabin equipment may be necessary.

Must be able to lift 25lbs. from floor to above shoulder height.

Comfortable being in a swimming pool with a life vest during emergency training and in water during an inflight emergency.

Able to properly secure oneself in a jump seat with harness without using a seat belt extension; able to expeditiously move through the cabin aisle in emergency and non-emergency situations.

Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related technical field with a strong focus on dynamic systems, estimation, or control.

8+ years of professional experience in GNC, localization, or advanced state estimation roles

Deep expertise in state estimation and sensor fusion, particularly with various Kalman filter types (e.g., EKF, ES-EKF, UKF, Invariant Filters) and their practical implementation.

And/or Python for algorithm development and real-time embedded systems implementation.

Extensive experience with vision-based navigation (VBN) techniques (e.g., VIO, VSLAM, feature tracking, optical flow) or robust map matching/geo-registration algorithms.

Proven ability to develop, test, and debug algorithms in real-time embedded environments on physical hardware.

Experience with modeling and simulation of dynamic systems and sensor phenomenology.

Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Preferably in demanding real-world applications (e.g., defense, aerospace, robotics).

Proficiency in C++ (preferred)

Master's Degree or PhD in a relevant technical field.

Experience with terrain contour matching (TERCOM) or other non-GPS absolute localization methods utilizing diverse sensor inputs (e.g., LRF, Radar Altimeters, Star Trackers/Celestial Navigation).

Familiarity with diverse sensor modalities for navigation (e.g., IMU, Baro, LRF, Radar Altimeters, EO/IR) and their specific noise characteristics and modeling.

Experience with distributed or collaborative navigation systems, leveraging inter-platform measurements.

Track record of successfully bringing complex algorithms from theoretical concepts through to deployed products on physical hardware.

Proficiency with modern software development practices (e.g., CI/CD, Git, automated testing frameworks).
